Featured This Month, October 2019: Kitchen Renovation
Each month we handpick one talented Instagrammer and their impeccably beautiful home to be featured in our journal and on our Instagram page. We are truly inspired daily by all the talent that we see and just have to share it with you.
Our very first entrant in “Featured this month” is Bryanie @extending145.
Last year, Bryanie decided to knock down their impractical conservatory of her beautiful home and extend their kitchen to make a more useful living space for her family.
To document her renovations, Bryanie launched her Instagram page @extending145 in March 2019 and since then, they have been on quite the build work journey!
“The grounds team had to dig deeper than expected and we were told that these foundations would go down in history!”
After months of patience, surrounded by scaffolding and scattered brickwork she could finally sign off her kitchen. She carefully selected elegant muted tones to create a warm and calming atmosphere in her kitchen.
At last, her stunningly beautiful kitchen is finally finished, complete with her dream pantry!
“I think this might be my favourite part of our kitchen. I dreamed of this cupboard when we were in the midst of dust and mess and using a shelf to store all of our dry food”
Bryanie has chosen an exquisitely designed larder by Tom Howley Kitchens. Her pantry has been carefully crafted from solid oak.
To complement her pantry, she has completed this with our Water Hyacinth Wicker Storage Tray Baskets. We just love how the rusticity of our baskets match the tones of the solid oak for a timeless and homely, country-inspired feel.
For a charming touch of organisation, she has used our ever-favourite accessory and attached little chalk board labels to keep everything in order.
You can follow Bryanie’s story and see the complete finished version of her kitchen on her Instagram page here.
We just LOVE your innovative creations so if you’d like to be featured next month, simply tag #TheBasketCompany on Instagram and show us how you’ve used your talents to style our baskets in your home.
