The Importance Of Gardening: For Health & Well Being

Believe it or not, gardening is extremely beneficial, not only for the earth and nature but also for you too. This keeps our all-important pollinators doing their job of keeping the environment stable. We are also fascinated by the fact that gardening is good for you and your health. A “Garden Buffet” To Feed The Pollinators

Pollinators visit flowers and harvest the pollen and nectar, transferring them from plant to plant and fertilising them. This plays a vital role in the reproduction of flowers and agriculture. The nectar contains the sugar they need for... Read More

Plus, it also feeds the pollinators! In our latest YouTube video, “Catherine’s English Garden... Read More

What’s Growing In Catherine’s English Garden

2018 proved to be a hit for Catherine’s Garden. Catherine’s Garden faces north east and one side is in shade all year round, so she fills her garden with shade loving plants (and of course plants to feed the pollinators as well) We couldn’t... The Story of Catherine’s English Garden

As a child our Director, Catherine, spent a lot of time with her father in his garden as he was also a keen gardener, growing anything from vegetables to cut flowers. “I enjoyed following him round as a child, while he did anything from pruning apple trees to weeding the beds” In 2018 Catherine decided to remove her garden and start again. The goal was for the new garden to contain a selection of plants to bring back the memories of her Father’s garden & also to feed the pollinators.  “I was mesmerised... Read More
