Featured This Month, December 2019: Christmas Décor
Each month we handpick one talented Instagrammer and their impeccably beautiful home to be featured in our journal and on our Instagram page. We are truly inspired daily by all the talent that we see and just have to share with you.
This month we bring you, enchanting Christmas décor by the talented Helen @my.victorian.house.
Helen’s stunning renovated Victorian home in North East England is the most typically quintessential English home. Her home is fit with beautiful high ceilings, a courtyard garden, a bright and airy conservatory and gorgeous kitchen Aga.
Helen’s home is consistent with impeccable organisation. She has featured our Grey & Buff deep rattan storage baskets in various places in her home including charming hallway to keep her hats, scarves and gloves in one place and neatly hidden away and also in her utility room for stylish organisation. How gorgeous do these rooms look?
“I had a hodge podge of baskets on the shelf beforehand but these new baskets look beautiful and contain all the hats, scarves and other paraphernalia we use in a cloak room or porch”
There’s nothing quite as soul cleansing as de-cluttering the hallway is there? How satisfying it must be to return home to a nice & organised entrance porch.
“The baskets make a lovely laundry carrier, ironing basket and decorative storage. I can honestly say they are the best baskets I’ve had. They look so pretty and they are so strong”
Gorgeous isn’t it? However it’s Helen’s Christmas décor that we couldn’t wait to show you.
This month Helen has used our rattan Christmas tree skirt as an elegant solution to cover up that bare Christmas tree leg.
We don’t know about you but we think that it completes her tree and the rest of her home perfectly.
Helen will also be using our charming new wooden Christmas eve boxes to give to her new granddaughter as a gift to fill up with some small gifts the night before Christmas.
“I’ve already started buying little gifts to go inside. I think it finishes off the tree beautifully, the other trees look very undressed so I may need to purchase two more”
Christmas Eve boxes have become such a fun gift to give to children to kick off the excitement before the next day and the best part is that you can use them again, year after year or as a charming storage solution! Fill them with a book, some pyjamas, a soft toy, some sweets and other little bits that you think they would love.
And just for a little extra touch of Christmas magic, Helen has decorated both of these ultimate festive accessories with charming fairy lights.
