Each month we hand-pick one talented Instagrammer to be featured in our Journal and on our Instagram page and this month in particular is a very special month, as we celebrate our 10th birthday here at The Basket Company. To help us celebrate, we have not just one but three talented and stylish Instagrammers, Chess of @floraliehome, Luci of @our_wandsworth_home and Lauren of @the_cubbyhole who have all decided to tell us what they love about The Basket Company.
Without further ado, let’s start with Chess of @floraliehome.
Chess’ home is a haven of style, with beautiful bright, fresh and clean décor, enhanced by natural lighting in her home. For anyone looking for a neutral colour palette, Chess’ home is a neutral paradise.
Chess is a huge fan of our baskets and has had our baskets in her home for years, including storage baskets, planters and various baskets in various rooms in her home.

“What do I not love about The Basket Company? The most important thing to say is that nothing is too much trouble for them. They leave the loveliest comments on my posts and other people’s posts. It’s nice to see a company that actually cares about their customers, it’s really, really special. In terms of why I love them based on what they sell is because they have literally got you covered for any basket you need. If you need a basket for the living room – they’ve got you covered, if you need baskets for the garden – they sell them, if you need baskets for the bedroom – they’ve got it. They literally have the biggest, widest range of baskets I’ve ever seen on any website before and every single one of them is beautiful.
“It’s so difficult to choose my favourite thing from The Basket Company because I can’t give one answer. I literally love every single basket for so many different reasons. I love my living room baskets because they’re so cosy and homely and I love my garden baskets because they just make the most perfect planters but seeing as we’re getting into those warmer summer months, I am loving sitting in my garden and seeing all of my The Basket Company planters. I’ve just got such a wide range of planters from The Basket Company. I also love my stair basket, which always gets so many compliments. If I ever need a basket, I always go to The Basket Company.

Luci’s home is a bright escape filled with neutrals that are absolutely to die for. Her home oozes elegance and tranquility, which can only be found in the most beautiful of homes.
“The thing I love most about The Basket Company is that they are a one-stop shop for all things baskets. You don’t have to spend time faffing around like you would on a big homeware brand looking around for baskets. The Basket Company literally has everything you could want in terms of baskets. Baskets can be practical and they can be run of the mill but The Basket Company makes practicality super stylish.
Most of the rooms in my house have a The Basket Company basket. They are just so on trend, they really stand out in the rooms I just love them.
My favourite basket from the collection would have to be the Square Grey & Buff Rattan Wicker Log Basket, which I use to store cushions in. I’ve had this basket for 2 years and my home has changed quite a bit over the last couple of years but this basket has stayed because I love it and it matches so many different types of décor.

Finally, we have Lauren of @the_cubbyhole.
Lauren’s new build home is filled with modern-country character and style. From herringbone flooring to exquisite shades of neutrals and sage, she has created such a beautiful and inspiring haven.
“The Basket Company has inspired me, so many times, to style up areas of my home and it’s not over yet as I have so many more ideas that I’ve taken from their beautiful website and their beautiful Instagram page.
What I love most about The Basket Company is not only the amazing range of beautiful baskets but the quality of them is exceptional and not only are the baskets exceptional but so is their amazing customer service. The website just provides so much inspiration for your home.
My favourite from the collection has to be anything from the Grey & Buff Rattan range. The colours really go with that “country-esque” look, which I love for my own home. My favourite products from the Grey & Buff range are the Grey & Buff Rattan Window Box Planters and the Grey & Buff Rattan Round Planters With Rope Handles. They are just beautiful and would work both inside and outside.
