Keeping our staff, their families and our customers safe

To all our lovely customers,

We hope you and your family and friends are well, healthy and safe.

We feel we have a duty to inform you of what we are doing to keep our staff, their families and our customers safe and protected during these unsettling times that result from COVID-19.

We have implemented a series of safety precautions that follow the COVID-19 secure guidance and advice that the government and Public Health England are giving. We monitor these guidelines on a regular basis to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep our staff and customers safe. We have regular company meetings that include all staff to make sure everyone remains well informed.

The government are currently saying that online businesses can remain open so here at The Basket Company it’s still business as usual, although we have taken the precaution of not accepting visitors into the premises since Tuesday 17^th March other than our regular couriers, which are allowed to deliver outside and sign on our behalf in order to safeguard our staff and their families. We are all looking after each other and we endeavour to remain in high spirits.

We are a small team and those of us that can work from home are already working from home and those of us that need to be at work are practising social distancing in and out of work and adhering to the safety precautions that follow the COVID-19 secure guidance and advice from the government and Public Health England. We will close as soon as the government tells us to, but for now we remain open business as usual.  

Our hearts and thoughts go out to people who have been affected and we truly appreciate the healthcare workers and those on the front line working to contain this virus and keep us all safe.
